What a night at Supply Nation Connect 2026.

This year’s theme, 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆, reflects so much of what Connect is about: progress, growth and resilience. For Morrgul, it also provided a wonderful opportunity to reflect on our own journey and the people who have been part of it.

I’m incredibly proud to share that Morrgul was awarded the 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. Sponsored by bp, this recognised our work and commitment to building a prosperous, vibrant and sustainable Indigenous business sector. It’s important to recognise the significant contributions of Little Wombats Program and BilaEmpower, our fellow finalists.

As part of this award, we were honoured to be gifted an artwork created by Cheryl Martin, a respected Whadjuk and Pindjarup cultural leader and artist. We feel incredibly grateful to receive this, a meaningful representation that was created at this event on Whadjuk country.

On top of that, we also received the 𝗗𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 – 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, sponsored by Coles. This was an extremely proud moment for our team, and we will continue to drive growth and turn opportunity into lasting impact.

For more than 13 years, Morrgul has been on a journey with one clear purpose: helping our clients build successful, sustainable businesses and create lasting economic impact.

That journey started in Broome, proudly remote, and it continues to shape who we are today. Being based in remote WA has never been a barrier to our ambition. It has given us a deep understanding of the opportunities, challenges and realities faced by the businesses and communities we work alongside.

Today, we work across the state and will continue to grow our own capacity to support more Aboriginal businesses and Community-Controlled Organisations in regional and remote WA.

This isn’t an easy journey. It takes resilience, passion, trust, strong partnerships and, above all, a great team.

I have the privilege of leading a team with diverse backgrounds and experiences, united by a genuine commitment to helping our clients succeed. They are the heart of Morrgul and the reason we continue to make an impact every day.

We also couldn’t do what we do without the 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀, including the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development and the 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲. Thank you for continuing to walk alongside us.

A sincere thank you also goes to Supply Nation for hosting such an incredible Connect 2026. A special thank you to Kate Russell for her leadership and for the work she and the Supply Nation team continue to do to support and grow the Indigenous business sector.

And finally, 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁. You are at the centre of everything we do. Seeing businesses grow, overcome challenges and continue to thrive is what makes this journey so worthwhile.

These awards belong to our entire Morrgul community: our team, our clients, our partners and everyone who has supported us along the way.

𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗪𝗔, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘀…
