Changes to Tender Contracts

Monday, 27 July 2020

Earlier this week the government announced some exciting changes to the way local Aboriginal owned businesses can win contracts with government agencies.

So what are these changes?

  • No need for a tender application if the contract is less than $250,000 (agencies can purchase directly from your business)
  • Tenders can now be for projects up to $500,000
  • For contracts between $250,000 – $500,000, no tender is required! A written quote will do

This is an awesome opportunity for WA Aboriginal owned businesses and will be in place until the end of 2020.
