Free online procurement training for Aboriginal businesses in the Kimberley.

Monday, 24 February 2020

We are pleased to announce that Morrgul has partnered with the Department of Finance to deliver the Aboriginal Business Capability Program, a comprehensive online training program for Aboriginal businesses that want to supply goods and services to government agencies.

Aboriginal businesses in the Kimberley can now learn about procurement and how to draft professional tenders in a unique, self-paced learning environment. The 3-part Aboriginal Business Capability Program teaches Aboriginal businesses all about:

  • The Tendering Process
  • The ‘Request for Quote’
  • Running a Business – Refresher Course

The Aboriginal Business Capability Program complements the Aboriginal Procurement Advisory Service that Morrgul runs across regional WA on behalf of the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.  Both programs deliver significant advantages to Aboriginal businesses seeking to harness the benefits of the state-wide Aboriginal Procurement Policy.

Morrgul will be launching the online training across the Kimberley over the next week, and we look forward to sharing news about how Aboriginal businesses across the Kimberley are wining tenders!
